What Bill Plans to Accomplish

1)  Continue to push forward the 2035 Vision

2)  Continue to move downtown development forward

3)  Continue to work with Mayor, council and staff to revamp and improve our fiscal policies.  The purpose for this is to streamline work flow when downtown development and Metro arrive and to make sure our bond rating stays superior.

4)  Continue to work with State, County and local committees on traffic and growth concerns.  This includes work I am doing to coordinate Fairfax Connector buses with Herndon students, which provides free rides for those who apply

5)  Continue my Pro-Business stance on council to not only attract more business to Herndon, but to KEEP the loyal businesses we have

6)  Work with businesses and citizens most impacted by the downtown development to minimize impact to ALL concerned

7)  Continue to lead the way with State, County and local committees on land use density so we can keep a mix of affordable, workforce and age in place housing in Herndon

8)  Continue to work on opening government to all who are concerned and want to be active.  This means continued dialogue on tax rates, downtown development, Boards and Commissions and Metro to name a few.

9)  Continue to be the advocate for ALL residents and business owners of Herndon.  We have far more in common than just a zip code.

10)  Continue to be a positive force on council, to be approachable and accountable for everything I say and do as your elected representative
